Anyone going to this one?

According to the website (http://www.marylebonesummerfayre.com/en/summer-fayre-2011/blue-zone.cfm) it seems it will be webcast for those of us who can't make it! :biggrin2:

Sam is scheduled to be on at around 1:20pm, and this is the webcam link:

:sad: The webcast only started working after Sam went off....seems to be a Beeton thing...exploding microphones and everything eh Mana...it's the 4th time it's happened.. Apparently...it started raining after guess which song :biggrin2:

Oh,I missed this one! Had my parents over for the weekend and never made it to the gig.....
How was it? Any reports?
Did any of the London area based Beetroots go?:happy:

Yessss, I was watching! :aah: Then the picture came on and I was thinking "oh okay, this is great" - but then there was some sort of random jazz audio track playing over Sam's set! :bash: From the little bit I could hear of him it sounded like he played Lie Low Lie (?) and I was thinking "you've got to be kidding me, there's a live stream and everything is finally working... except for an audio track playing over top, making it nearly impossible to hear him??" :rofl:

And this is the 4th time?! :lmfao: So much for things going wrong in threes...:fisch:

Helllo! me and a friend went to the Marylebone fair last Sunday, had a great time, and saw Sam perform there! I also met him afterwards and spoke to him for a while, he's such a nice person as well as an amazing musician :) Luckily it didnt rain very much, or lucky for Sam's hair more like! haha :) the songs he played were Rain Down On You, My Doll, Good Natured Child, Under the Fence, and Lie Low Lie :D it was incredible being able to see him live, even though sam said he wasnt feeling too good he sung really well! I think the highlight of my day was being in Sam's blog video thing, haha, definitely wasnt expecting that! it was great meeting him in person, it was nice to get to talk to the person who i get CD's from in the post :) i felt so short standing next to him though haha, im only 5ft 3! oh dear :P but really, if you havent been to see him live yet, definitely go! it was a great experience :) thanks Sam! :D

Thanks for sharing, Roshni! Gahhh, I thought he played Lie Low Lie. There was a live webcast of this gig but the audio wasn't quite working properly so we could barely hear him. :sad: Was this your first time seeing one of Sam's gigs?

And I know exactly what you mean about feeling short. I'm only 5'1" myself. :insane:
