So, it's that time of year again. Anyone been watching clips or highlights? What are everyone's thoughts on Glasto? I've never been, but I think it's something I wouldn't mind trying at least once, just for the whole musical, mud-laden experience. :drunk_sing:

Yes ive been watching highlights on TV, ive also never been, but would love to one day. Think its almost a right of passage.
This year there has been so many amazing acts playing, i wont list them all! But my best so far has to be Mumford:bounce: and Sons, Paolo :wub2: Nutini, and Paul :mf_rosetinted: Simon.

the line-up this year is brilliant; two door cinema club, bombay bicycle club, tame impala, laura marling, mumford and sons, vaccines, naked and famous, joy formidable, foster the people, and the list goes on and on!

I totally agree about the right of passage thing. Mud and all. I'm seriously considering going in 2013.

I can't get over this video. It's crazy how many people came out to see Paul Simon!

That's perfect timing with Glasto being off next year (I think?). Did you hear that they're expanding Coachella to two weekends?

I went to Glasto in '95 when Pulp headlined and were amazing, Oasis were shite and it was really sunny:wub2:
TBH the whole place smells funky and is full of weirdos but it is something that you should experience.
This year I thought Coldplay were awesome and Beyonce really put on a show-Strange choice for Glasto as it's normally guitar bands.
I went in the Brit Pop Era and had a marvellous time. I would only go again if I could stay in a hotel/campervan- I'm too much of a princess these days. (Blimey this makes me sound really old-im not BTW)

I take it you did the camping thing when you went in '95? I like the idea of camping, but I must admit my inner princess doesn't like the idea of this: :aah:

Sounds perfect! :drunk_sing: Can you call up the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and arrange for them to headline? :mf_rosetinted:
